Lisa Keovongsa, RD, LDN
Lisa is a registered dietitian nutritionist located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her clinical focus is working with young adults and adolescents in the areas of sports nutrition, disordered eating and weight concerns, nutrition and mental illness, and GI issues. Her experience ranges from outpatient counseling at Massachusetts General Hospital to nutrition and exercise coaching in the university setting.
Lisa utilizes a non-diet approach, where individuals can develop a positive relationship with food and recognize how it can be enjoyed fully as a part of everyday life. While society’s interpretation of health may seem attractive, it is time-consuming and often unattainable. Lisa’s aim is to help individuals cultivate acceptance with their body and use food as medicine to enhance their lives. Food plays an essential, functional role to fuel and nourish, but can also have the ability to enable thriving. Instead of focusing on weight as an indicator for health, Lisa uses evidence-based practice to help individuals establish balance in their diet and use movement as a joyful, intuitive practice.
